Chandler Police Investigate Animal Cruelty

On December 12, 2019, around 10:30 am the Chandler Police Department investigated the report of animal cruelty in the 3200 block of North Brentwood Place. A resident called police after she found a yellow short haired cat with a metal trap attached to its left hind leg.

Motorcyclist Succumbs to Injuries from Collision

Phoenix Man Crashes into Patrol Vehicle

On Sunday, November 24, 2019 around 5pm, patrol officers were sent to the 200 block of South Kyrene Road for the report of a male slumped over the steering wheel of a running vehicle. When officers arrived on-scene they discovered the vehicle, a white 2017 Subaru, had been reported stolen earlier in the day with 25-year-old Cesar Limon asleep behind the steering wheel.

Traffic Section to Participate in Annual DUI Taskforce

The Chandler Police Department’s Traffic Section will participate in the annual East Valley Holiday DUI Task Force, which begins on Friday, November 29, 2019 and runs through New Year’s Eve. Please remember to always wear your seatbelt and call for a ride when alcohol consumption is part of your holiday celebration.

Chandler Police Department Receives GOHS Grant

The Chandler Police Department has received a $195,350 grant from the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety (GOHS) to fund numerous traffic safety related programs for the period beginning October 1, 2019 through September 30, 2020.
