Volunteer Coordinator

• Manages a volunteer base, including recruitment, interviews, training and on-going support services.
• Supervises the Motorist Assist Program and various departmental volunteers.
• Develops new and innovative volunteer opportunities.
• Develops partnerships with community agencies and businesses to encourage program participation and sponsorships.
• Maintains statistical records on volunteer hours.
• Plans events for the volunteers.
• Assesses department's need for volunteers.
