Police Need Help Identifying Robbery Suspect

CHANDLER, AZ. The Chandler Police are asking the public’s help in identifying a robbery suspect. This robbery occurred at a small coffee shop called Lava Java located at 6050 W Chandler BL., on March 28, 2008 around 3:30 PM. The suspect entered the coffee shop and waited at the counter for the barista. While he was waiting, he looks up directly at the camera. When the barista approached him, he ordered a drink and then pulled a gun when the cash drawer was opened. He pointed the gun at the barista and demanded the money from the register.  He leaned over the counter and took the cash out of the register. He then walked out of the coffee shop and left in an unknown direction. It is unknown if he has a vehicle. 

The suspect is described as Hispanic male, 5’8”-5’10”, 160-180 pounds, short black hair. He was last seen wearing a gray short sleeve t-shirt, blue jeans and white shoes.
