Teenager Shot to Death

CHANDLER, AZ. On Saturday, March 22, 2008 at approximately 8:30 P.M., Chandler Police responded to the area of Flint Street and Ithica Street for a 911 call of multiple gunshots. Upon arrival, police located a 16-year-old with an apparent gunshot wound. Initial information led officers to believe the suspect was in a nearby residence. Due to the possible risk, officers extricated the victim out of the area so paramedics could begin treating the victim. The juvenile victim was taken to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injury. The victim has been identified as Chandler resident, Richard Gonzalez.
Two suspects were seen running from the area in two different directions. The suspects are described as Hispanic males. One suspect was described as 5 feet 6 inches tall, thin build, unknown clothing description.
