Chandler Police Participating in Occupant Protection Program

CHANDLER, AZ. The Chandler Police Department is announcing their participation in this year’s Governor’s Office of Highway Safety (GOHS) Occupant Protection Program, which will focus on seatbelt enforcement.  This program, funded through a grant from GOHS, will run through September 30, 2010.  The grant will allow additional officers from the Traffic Unit to work our roadways to educate drivers and passengers about the seatbelt laws through enforcement.  Our goal is to save lives through education and compliance.  Remember to, “Click It or Ticket” and stay safe.
