99.5% of all the calls were false.
Our goal as a police department is to deter false alarms. In some cities around the United States police departments are not responding at all to alarm calls because of the number of false alarms outweighing the number of valid alarm calls. We don't want to be one of these cities, we want to serve our citizens as well as keep the number of false alarms to a minimum.
