The CPAAC – Citizens Police Academy Association of Chandler members serve as goodwill ambassadors to the community for the Chandler Police Department. Both the Citizens Police Academy and the  CPAAC strive to increase public awareness and understanding of law enforcement, in an effort to help build a safer community through a partnership between informed citizens and those who protect and serve.

Our Mission Statement:

  • To be goodwill ambassadors who advocate and volunteer in support of the Chandler Police Department’s mission to provide a safe community.

How Do I become a CPAAC member?

  • All CPAAC members must have completed a Chandler Police Departments Citizens Academy 13 week program.

Meeting Information:

The CPAAC normally meets on the first Thursday of the month at the Main Police Station (250 E. Chicago St.) from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.  During the meeting, they have guest speakers related to Law Enforcement, and the remaining time at the end of the night is used to talk about future service projects, fundraising opportunities and networking.
