Community - Law Dawgs Hockey

The Law Dawgs Ice Hockey Team was formed by members of the Chandler Police Department in 1999. The team also invites officers from other valley law enforcement agencies to play on the Law Dawgs team. The Law Dawgs have hosted four benefit hockey games since 1999. The games are usually played in August or September. The Law Dawgs play against local celebrities and former NHL players in charity events to raise money for the benefit the Chandler Police Officer Memorial Fund (CPOMF) and other local charities. The CPOMF provides financial assistance to the families of officers and civilians employees who are injured or killed in the line of duty and to assist members of the law enforcement community in need.
